Defining who can receive emails from the PLATO system
APPLICABLE TARGET: PLATO Application Administration, United Kingdom and Australasia.
To help prevent confidential patient information being accidentally emailed to the wrong person, the list of users who are allowed to receive e-mails is maintained by the facility's administration staff.
To allow a user to appear in the list of valid e-mail destinations (for creating reports or sending worksheet documents) you need to add an "Email" tag containing the user's email address to their user account.
To allow a service/team/location to appear in the list of valid e-mail destinations (for either creating reports or sending worksheet documents) you need to add an "Email" tag containing the destination email address to the service/team/location. You can add multiple "Email" tags if you want to direct the email to multiple destinations.
After adding or changing "Email" tags you must unload your PLATOAtlas servers (using the ADMIN.ASP page) to cause the e-mail destination list to be refreshed.
