Tag Type is missing from Users/Services/Locations
APPLICABLE TARGET: PLATO Application Administration, United Kingdom and Australasia.

If when attempting to add a new tag for a user/service/location you find that the tag type you need to add is missing from the drop down, you can add this tag type in to the PLATO system so that it becomes available.

To do this:

1. Log into the PLATOAtlas system using an account with access to the System Admin/Root Tags application
2. Select the System Admin tab
3. Click the Root tags icon (if you don't see this icon then you don't have access to this application)
4. Select either User Tags, Service Tags or Location Tags on the right depending on what type of tag you wish to add
5. The existing list of available tags will be displayed on the right
6. Click the New button at the top right (or right click an existing tag and select New Root Tag)
7. Enter the title of the new tag in the "New Root xxxx Tag" box
8. Click the Save button
9. Unload your PLATOAtlas servers using the Admin.asp page

The new tag will appear as an available option in the appropriate section.
