Updating Licenses
APPLICABLE TARGET: PLATO 32-bit and Intranet Applications, United Kingdom and Australasia.
To update the Licenses in your PLATO system:
1. Download http://www.platohealth.com/releases/relicense.zip
2. Unzip this file into your PLATO Middle Tier folder.
3. Run the Relicense.exe application from your PLATO Middle Tier folder.
4. If your licenses were updated correctly you will see the following message:

5. Click the OK button.
6. Delete the Relicense.exe application from your PLATO Middle Tier folder to ensure that it is not accidentally run again.
Note: You can perform this process on both Live and Test/Training systems.
If you receive the following message when running the Re-license application:

Your system is a very old version of PLATO. You should upgrade as soon as possible. However, you can still update your licenses.
To Update Licenses on an old version of PLATO:
1. Download http://www.platohealth.com/releases/supportfiles.zip
2. Unzip this file to your PLATO Middle Tier folder.
3. Follow the instructions above to install your licenses.
To Check that your Licenses have been updated:
1. Run the application V8Configuration.exe from your PLATO Middle Tier folder.
2. Click the Licenses tab.
3. Review the dates of each license type to check that it is what you expect.
Please note: License updates will only take effect in the PLATOAtlas intranet server once the servers have been reloaded. This usually happens at night automatically, but you can use the Admin.asp page to unload your servers manually.
