If you need Plato assistance with a Report or Coding Rule, the most cost-effective approach is to include a Report or Rule Definition Export file when you create the ticket.
To Export a Report or Rule Definition File:
1) Select the Report or Rule.
2) Click the "Export Report/Rule Definition" Button.
3) Select a filename and location for the saved definition.
4) Attach the Report or Rule file with your ticket.
Note that the export file only contains the report definition: if does not include the report content.
If unsure which Rule is causing your issue:
You can export more than one by using Ctrl+A (to select all) or standard Windows list options to multi-select rows in the list.
Including the Report or Rule Definition file makes it much more likely that Plato can reproduce the fault efficiently to issue directed advice.
